The Marketing Strategist Intern supports the marketing team in executing the company’s marketing strategy by executing all basic routine functions. The position requires supporting the team's Key Account tasks. This includes developing and producing accurate and attractive sub-proposals, qualification packages, and other marketing materials to support the firm’s business development goals.
The Marketing Strategist Intern must be enrolled in a university program focusing on Marketing, Sales, or Business Marketing.
Responsibilities:
Supporting the creation of highly detailed and accurate proposal packages, often under tight deadlines
Accurate and consistent updating of Salesforce marketing and client databases
Supporting other digital and print marketing and communications initiatives as noted below
Specific Duties:
Proposal coordination: Works closely with the Key Account Studio Members and relevant personnel in developing and designing sub-proposals and qualification materials. This entails copywriting, copy-editing, and graphic design to ensure that materials adhere to firm branding and design standards. The Marketing Intern will also proactively improve team processes associated with proposal creation to save time, reduce errors, and ensure more wins for the firm.
Database maintenance: Provides timely and ongoing input into the firm’s Salesforce database, including new contacts and proposals currently in progress.
Assist with other marketing duties as assigned, including writing copy for project profiles, newsletters, or company emails, or organizing company events and maintaining the P2S Social Suite
Computer / Software Skills
Strong computer skills and experience in InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Salesforce.
Position Requirements
Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in marketing or related field
Strong computer skills and experience in InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.com
Experienced with Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Pardot, Print Marketing, Account Management, Podcast, TV Production
Working Knowledge
Ability to communicate effectively with people through oral presentations and written communications
Ability to work well under pressure, juggle, and prioritize multiple projects
Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, creative, self-motivated, and enthusiastic
Strong interpersonal skills and experience in maintaining strong client relationships are required
Computer literacy, including all core applications and the ability to quickly learn as needed
